FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DOES EACH MACHINE WORK? / WHY DOES IT WORK?

L250

The L250 operates similarly to a normal bicycle trainer, except that the individual is enclosed within a vacuum chamber from the hips down. Throughout the treatment, various degrees of negative pressure are applied to the skin while the client is cycling. This stimulates blood supply to the fatty tissue around the hips, buttock and thigh region – an area which traditionally, for pear shaped women, has poor blood supply. The intermittent vacuum intervals during the program accelerate the transport of the fat enriched blood to the muscles.

VACUNAUT

The Vacunaut operates similarly to a normal treadmill trainer, except that the individual is wearing a negative pressure suit made of airtight neoprene. During gentle training, the 122 vacuum chambers built into the suit alternate between negative and positive pressure, stimulating abdominal muscle contractions. The negative pressure acts like a vacuum – sucking the blood into the fatty tissue of the stomach and hips, allowing the blood to be enriched with fatty acids. During the positive pressure phase, the fatty acid enriched blood is pushed from the dermal tissue into the bloodstream and transported to the muscles, where the fatty acids are burnt off as fuel for movement.

HDC / VACUMASAGE

The Vacumassage acts similarly to the Chinese therapy of cupping. During the treatment the individual wears an airtight body suit, which contains a network of 400 integrated pressure chambers located around the stomach, hip, buttock, thigh and knees. Circulation is stimulated throughout these areas through the application of high and low pressure via the active chambers. This has the effect of enriching the dermal tissue with blood leading to an increase in cell activity and regeneration and the accelerated disposal of lymph fluid and accumulated toxins from the connective and fatty tissue.

HOW DO I COMMENCE A COURSE OF HYPOXI TREATMENTS?

Initially, you will need to come for an HYPOXI consultation in order for a therapist to assess your requirements.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO COME FOR TREATMENTS?

A course of 12 or 24 sessions is recommended on the HYPOXI trainer.

WHEN WILL I SEE (GET) THE FIRST RESULTS IN SHAPING?

With the HYPOXI training devices you concentrate the fat-loss at your problem areas. Each kilogram of bodyweight you lose means 1 cm of circumference loss per thigh if that is your problem area. Depending on your personal predisposition that loss is almost 3 times more than without HYPOXI training. Similar results will be achieved on your stomach, if that is your problem area. In 4 weeks it should be one size clear loss.

The whole period of the HYPOXI therapy is depending on the initial situation and your personal purpose. Most of our customers will reach their purpose during 1 – 3 months.

WHY DO YOU MEASURE THE SKIN TEMPERATURE AT THE THIGH?

Cellulite thighs get colder during classical training, your blood supply and metabolism is increasing during the HYPOXI training, which results in cellulite thighs getting warmer.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

None, you may feel the urge to drink more water as the body detoxifies. It is obviously safer than invasive surgery and preferable to passive treatments where you are lying down, without muscle activity.

CAN I USE HYPOXI IF I AM NOT VERY FIT?

HYPOXI training is designed for men and women of all fitness levels and ages. Throughout the treatment, your heart rate and skin temperature are constantly monitored. HYPOXI training does not require any particular degree of physical fitness and is perfect for someone who is thinking about getting back into exercise for the first time in years. You will be required to complete a client information form when you attend the studio, as there are certain illnesses & conditions which preclude people from undertaking treatments. If in doubt, we recommend you speak to a medical professional – your safety is paramount to us.
